The story of ALFIE...

Alfie is a much loved family cavoodle. His portrait needed to be painted because the families eldest daughter was returning after a year traveling. She had missed the dog madly, so what better way to celebrate her return at Christmas than with a portrait of her beloved Alfie.

The decorative background was taken from an antique asian drum collected on the family's travels. The colours complement  Alfie's beautiful rich ginger coat, a hair colour common throughout the family gene pool!
