The story of Margaret.....

I first met Margaret on Instagram! I was totally taken by these water-loving German Wirehaired Pointers, and I had to paint her. Margaret lives on the lakes in the north of the US in Michigan. She has a charmed life exploring the forests and lakes near her home with her dog pal Shadow, which is lovingly recorded on her Instagram account 2cream2sugar. And the name... Margaret, has been a family name for generations in my family... for humans though, not for dogs!
