The story of Otis....

The words to the famous song 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' by Otis Redding inspired the naming rights of  this gentle giant. The lazy sunday afternoon vibe of the lyrics emulate the dog's personality to a tee. Commissioned as a surprise by one half of the couple, it was top secret liaising between us 'til we got the expression & the setting just right.

I'm told there were tears (of joy I hope!) when the portrait was finally revealed.
